THE FILM COMMISSION
The Bay County Tourist Development Council, in conjunction with the Bay County Board of Commissioners, provide support and direction to the Film Commission. The Boards embrace all the advantages that come from both the marketing side of the industry, as well as the economic impact stimulated by the use of local services and goods, including providing local employment.

JULIE GORDON, FILM COMMISSIONER
“Commissioner Gordon” has been working in the film industry for over 25 years. Through experience as a SAG actor since 1986, and providing production services since 1996, working on both sides of the camera continues to be beneficial. Understanding and anticipating the needs of a production helps to prepare for a project. Knowing where to find those needs on a local and regional level is key to the success of this Film Commission.

Production types include: Television Series, Reality, Commercial, Video, Industrials, Print, etc.

Projects Include: Independent feature films Dancin’ It’s On!, Born & Raised, A Free Bird, Victor Nunez’s Ruby in Paradise and Coastlines, scenes from Lionsgate’s Secondhand Lions…television commercials for SouthWest Airlines, Garnier Fructiis, various pharmaceutical companies, HGTV’s Dream Home Give Away (X2), and other HGTV series’, National Geographic’s specials, Discovery Channels “Dream Wrecks:, The Learning Channel, VH1’s Hogan Knows Best and numerous episodes of MTV’s MADE …..NBC’s Tonight Show (X3), Good Morning America, Today Show, MSNBC, ABC Family’s “Back to School”, music videos for Trick Pony, Cledus T Judd – No Relation, Alan Jackson, Luke Bryan, Colt Ford and more.
